It is reported that Hideo Kojima is still working on the exclusive Xbox Series X

According to reports, Hideo Kojima is still working on his exclusive Xbox game. The developer has been working in silence in several new games for quite some time, but he has not yet revealed any details. At the end of 2015, Hideo Kojima left the old home in Konami and began an independent game studio known as Kojima Productions. For the first game of him, Varada de la Death, he worked closely with PlayStation, which provided funding and all kinds of other benefits. In spite of what some think, Hideo Kojima is still an independent developer and can work with who pleases him. Last year rumors began to emerge that Hideo Kojima is working with Xbox in a cloud-based horror game, but no official announcement has been made, which makes many wonder if that will happen.

Speaking at his podcast by Giantbomb, Grubbsnax, journalist Jeff Grubb stated that the Xbox game of Hideo Kojima is still happening. Grubb pointed out that he had heard this a couple of weeks ago, but does not rule out the fact that PlayStation has acquired Kojima Productions. Many have been speculating strongly that the Hideo Kojima team was acquired by PlayStation afterwards varant of death appeared in an image of PlayStation Studios banner. With the exception of the Kojima game, all the titles were developed by studies owned by PlayStation, which made many fans stop. Of course, Varate of death is owned by PlayStation, so it is possible that this is the only reason why it appears.

It would be easier to discard it if Grubb and Greg Miller had not recently suggested that PlayStation also has a great acquisition in process. At this time, it is not known what that study could be, but the Hideo Kojima team conforms to the description. Either way, as he is, it seems that Hideo Kojima is still a free agent and is working on something with Xbox. The developer is expected to announce something before the end of the year, but nobody knows exactly what it will be.
