The French company, responsible for titles such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry or Rainbow Six, has recognized that this has caused problems in their services, including several games.

Although all of them are already recovered, the incident continues to be investigated. The important thing, in any case, is that Ubisoft has insisting that there is no indications that no personal information has been affected by this situation.

The communiqué published by the Company explains that "last week Ubisoft experienced a cybersecurity incident that caused temporary problems in some of our games, systems and services. Our IT teams are working with external experts to investigate the problem. As a precautionary measure, We have started a reset of passwords at the company level ".

"We can also confirm that all our games and services are working normally and that at this time there is no evidence that no personal information of the players has been exposed as a result of this incident."

As we always recommend in these cases, however, we recommend you change the password as soon as possible, and if it is the same as you use in other services (which should not do) also change it in these to avoid possible problems.
