After a free throw, the center flip the ball slightly to Doncic, which drew the ball a little harder back to the sender. So Dallas quickly pulled back to +18 away, when three more triples found their goal quickly. The first two of the MAVs in the third quarter came after almost ten minutes, Utah had ten points in the section at this time.
Then it came to the next small incident between Gobert and Doncic, when the Frenchman went backwards in Doncic after a hit, which went back to the ground. The referees looked at the situation for a possible technical foul, but decided against just a few seconds. This decision seemed right, Doncic dropped very theatrically.
"At the moment, I thought it was bad, but then I saw it again and it was nothing," said Doncic after the game, raised to the scene: "We all laughed on the bench."
